APC Convention: Imo PDP prayed for chaos but we’re disappointed

By Ezeafurukwe Paul Ihunanya

On Saturday the 26th day of March, APC had their National Convention.

Many Imo PDP Members were disappointed. All they pray for was chaos among the Imo APC delegates. To them, Okorocha’s men “MUST” clash with Uzodimma’s men.

I believe they must have seen images and heard stories of how the event played out. I plead with them to nurse their disappointment with pride.

Imo APC may not be completely one at the moment but the party has one leader at the state level and his name is Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma.

The above statement is the problem between Onwa and Rochas as regards party affairs. The later doesn’t want to accept the fact that he is no longer in charge of the affairs of the State party structure, thus his usual verbal abuse to his leader the governor.

As smart and intelligent as Gov. Hope Uzodimma is, he can never be found wanting in gray areas. He has never publicly insulted Rochas, but the later does that at his pleasure.

I pray he realizes his mistakes and join hands with His Excellency for his own benefit.

Let me also clear the air on the matter surrounding the leadership of the party. You will agree with me that Dr Ebere Macdonald PHD was seen almost everywhere at the convention trying to get things easier for his boss the governor, but the other Chairman was nowhere to be found. A supposed state APC chairman, was nowhere around the convention.

This should atleast give you a clearer picture of where the party leadership lies. Dan Nwafor should understand that he is being used to fight a lost battle. After all, they were AA during the last general election.

To the new leadership at the national level, I wish you all a successful tenure and a good general election outcome come 2023.
