The incumbent Government of Dist Sen Hope Uzodinma is a pan-Imo, pure Imo-centric and really a divinely commissioned and graced Government having no bigotry in it.
Selflessness has continued to be the enduring legacy of this Government. This is antagonistically contrary to what Imo governance had rudely been through in the last two governments.
Zonism in normal political palance breeds the winner-takes-it-all-syndrome. Such can not and has not been the case in this Government given the obvious balance ( with the deserved peculiar attention to Owerri zone as a capital zone ) existing between all the zones in equitable distribution of development.
The Owerri – Orlu and Owerri – Okigwe Craneburg Construction Company road jobs are eloquent testimonies of equitability and prudent fairness – two undeniable dual signatures of the 3R Government of Shared Prosperity. The jobs are ongoing and the sure delivery of the projects shall evidently give credence to the divine unction behind the 3R Government.
The many years of misgovernance, especially as witnessed in the last two governments headed by Rochas Okorocha and lately (but without judicial legitimacy) Emeka Ihedioha – when caution was thrown to the winds and criminal effrontery was projected to high-heavens while known and obvious public assets were brazenly converted and Imo posterity robbed of her agelong patrimony seem to now be judiciously, legally and lawfully RECOVERED. Imo State is today undergoing rediscovery. Therefore, the rude distraction on Zonism need to be stopped and immediately too.
Let Imolites, please, reason along.
An average expectation now is that this 3R Government doing all the needful in tactfulness, in focus and with the doubtless political will and needful balls to ensure 100% recovery of lost Imo assets should be and deserve to be supported to consolidate on the RECOVERY and make its achievements irreversible. The Hawks who stole Imo blind; whose maneuvers robbed Imo public of its private and public assets are regrouping and hoping to reverse the audacious achievements of this 3R Government with the 2024 elections in Imo State. Imolites should deny them the opportunity of using insecurity, insurrections and sponsorship of mayhem to de-market the 3R Government and steal in back to recommence with their game of looting. These people are known. They are People Deceiving People – PDP!
I know for sure that the clamour for zonal equity in leadership sounds germane. It might be tempting to align with the sentiments that OMEGBU ADIGHI NMA. Heiiiii, the underlying deceit is to undo the monumental recoveries being achieved by the unyielding political will and determination of the incumbent Government. It is not wrong to endorse power rotation to all the zones. But there must first be a State before there should be a Governor. Imo State was no more in essence and in truth. Our soul had been stolen. Our patrimony gone. The 3R Government of Shared Prosperity with its mantra especially of RECOVERY is our only chance to rediscover Imo State and bequeath a State to our posterity where the equity of leadership can thrive.
What do we gain if an Emeka Ihedioha who tactlessly began the recovery against Rochas Okorocha but now politically romancing with the tactless usurper of public trust is given back the saddle to undo the monumental recoveries we have recorded under 3R? Or just in a bid to rotate power, we hand over Imo governance to another person and lose the steam of the steady self-rediscovery which we can sustain for just another couple of years for consolidation? Just for another one more term to cement the RECOVERIES?
I want Oblong to answer this question. Oblong’s campaign is not totally out of order!
Imo State is being reconstructed. Imo is being rehabilitated. Imo is being recovered.
Let’s keep the Enlightenment on.
Talk to yourself, to your people and keep the faith with our tested 3R. This is our divinely ordained last chance through 2024 to 2028 for an Imo State we hope to bequeath our posterity.
