“There is no foreigner that will come into Imo State to perpetuate crime without the support and assistance of people living in the state.

“Let us take advantage of todays event and charge ourselves – to say never again will our brothers and sisters be killed, some beheaded, maltreated in a manner forbidden by God, forbidden by our tradition, forbidden by our ancestors and we sit back and only look.

“When you go home, recover your sense of confidence, recover your sense of security.

“I may not be talking too much, but I am not confused. I have been called names, am aware. I have been defined severally from different perspectives – Am aware. But I see myself as a masquerade who cannot be seen from one location – Take your time and go round, see me completely before you judge.

“We have to salvage the state. We must restore the social order…We have an enterprise spirit – lets bring back life to Imo State because God has highly endowed this state with great men and women with opportunities for them to excel.

“Whether you are in opposition party or in the ruling party, I came with a new order that will identify all the talents and strenghts in Imo State – avail these talents and translate these talents into dividends of democracy for our people”
