Okorocha: Does Ihedioha And Araraume Truly Have The People of Imo At Heart?

When we hear the saying, that birds of the same feather flock together, recent happenings in the state is of great conviction, that the emergence of Senator Hope Uzodinma as Imo governor, no matter our reservations, might have been God at work.

I remember that visit by former president Olusegun Obasanjo to Imo State in 2007, when he told us something about the then Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, former Senator Ifeanyi Araraume.

Looking at Araraume’s relationship with the worst dictator in the history of Imo State,, from 2015 till date, I have started to see reason with what Obasanjo said.

I now realise that God used the Ota farmer to save Imo State in 2007.

Whenever I look at the face of Somtochukwu’s mother, as she wept in anguish, after Okorocha murdered her 11 years old son, I start wondering how the likes of Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha and Senator Ifeanyi Araraume, can wine, dine and dance with such a man and yet claim they have the interest and good of Imo people at heart

How can Ihedioha and Araraume be comfortable with a man who owed pensioners for eight years and slashed the salaries of civil servants by 30%. I don’t know about the other person, but one of them is rumoured to also be good at owing people that work for him and will suit in just fine with Okorocha. However for both of them to be comfortable with Okorocha, it shows them as birds of same feather that can do the same things.

Clearly there is no Integrity left, rather a hunger to get into power no matter which way it comes.

How else can one describe that the same Ihedioha who set up panels to probe Okorocha, would be the same Ihedioha, being rumoured to be considering Okorocha’s son-in-law, as his running mate come 2023?

That ultimately means that should they get into power, every land allegedly stolen by Okorocha and his family members, that have been seized by the Uzodinma administration, would be taken away from the people, and returned to Okorocha.

It would also mean, that all the probes set up to find out what Okorocha did with our bailout funds and Paris Refunds, would be swept under the rug.

If Ihedioha is ready to let all this happen, just to get into power, does that show him as a man who cares about the well-being of the people, or another power hungry man?

If Araraume would see all that, and still pitch his political tent with the most hated man in Imo State, doesn’t it tell us something about what he has in his heart for Ndi Imo?

Is it love?

Incase Ihedioha have forgotten what the man he was dancing Awilo with did, let me refresh his memory just a little bit.

• Okorocha didn’t pay pensioners for eight years
• Okorocha slashed salaries of workers by 30%
• Okorocha has not accounted for billions of naira in bailout he collected
• Okorocha has not accounted for the Paris Club refunds he collected
• Okorocha has not told us what he did with the over ₦30billion he inherited for Ohakim
• Okorocha used our money to build University for himself
• Okorocha’s thugs attacked Assumpta Cathedral in 2015 and beat up priests
• Okorocha’s thugs attacked Archbishop AJV Obinna inside a church
• Laz Anyanwu was kidnapped and killed under Okorocha’s watch
• Emenike Ihekoaba is still missing more than eight years after he was kidnapped under Okorocha’s watch
• Pastor Emmanuel Adoba was murdered under Okorocha’s watch
• Okorocha signed abortion bill and victimised Dr. Philip Njemanze for blowing the whistle
• Buses bought by Ohakim vanished under Okorocha’s watch
• Billions of naira worth of IRROMA equipment and trucks vanished under Okorocha’s watch
• Prince Noel Tochukwu was invited to Imo and killed under Okorocha’s watch
• Okorocha attempted to kill Imo people with diseases when he heaped refuse on Douglas road
• Okorocha turned Imo into the dirtiest state in Nigeria
• Have you asked Okorocha what happened to Ama JK Recreation Park and the money mapped out for the multilevel parking lot?
• Okorocha converted IBC Orji land to his private estate
• Your probe panels revealed to is that Okorocha diverted over ₦120billion through failed road projects

Where do I start, where do I stop? How can Ihedioha love Ndi Imo, yet he is ready to join forces with a man that did all these and more to Imo people? What a selfish way to live a life.

I guess Okorocha is warming up to take back the university and IBC lands Uzodinma seized from him, once he makes Ihedioha govenror.

And these men claim they love Imo people.

With bailout funds and Paris Refunds in his pocket, why wouldn’t Okorocha boost that he is richer than Imo State? Ihedioha probably needs that money to fight Uzodinma in 2023, but at what cost?

With an Uche Nwosu deputy governor, mark my words, Ihedioha would be impeached before the first month of his tenure, and Uche Nwosu would become govenror and return Rochas Okorocha back to power.

Are you doubting it?

Okorocha effectively pocketed the House of Assembly when he was govenror and turned them into his servants. Ihedioha does not know how to manipulate them and not willing to bring out money (which was allegedly part of the reason he lost in court).

Okorocha knows when to bring out money and within one year, the House members will be loyal to him and Uche Nwosu. Ihedioha’s impeachment will be swift.

Let me ask Ihedioha and Araraume where they were when Imo people were locked down during the COVID-19 outbreak?

Araraume was busy sharing bread in Abuja, and wanted to be Senator of Okigwe. He suffered a humiliating defeat to the joy of the people.

Ihedioha didn’t even sent a single bag of rice even to his people in Mbutu.

What about throughout the Insecurity and unknown gunmen saga?

Both men kept quiet without offering advise or support to the state government and the people.

And yet they claim to love Imo people.

By their actions we shall know them.

The desperation of the likes of Ihedioha and Araraume, to get into bed with Okorocha, have shown that they have no love for Ndi Imo and are only interested in getting into power, no matter which way they do it.
