Nigerians Are Ready To Elect Atiku Abubakar As President- Imo PCC DG, Egu
- Jane Offor
Director General of the Presidential Campaign Council in Imo State, Hon Greg Egu has stated that Nigerians are ready to elect the PDP standard bearer, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as President in the February 25th elections.
Hon Egu said that as a result of their eagerness to instill and experience good governance, economic boost, adequate security guarantee and zero corruption index, majority of them are becoming so impatient and curious to see Alhaji Abubakar emerge the President of the country.
According to him, as a result of APC failure to galvanize, resuscitate the economy including the rate of killings, kidnapping and robbery incidents occasioned by insecurity, Nigerians are no longer comfortable to see APC and its harsh leadership survive beyond February 25th, polls.
He made this closure Friday while addressing Imo Professionals and Entrepreneurs in Owerri ahead of the elections. He regretted why every policy of President Buhari’s government poses grave danger to the lives and property of the citizens, urging them to join hands with PDP to sack the infamous party.
The erstwhile member of the House of Representatives for Aboh Mbaise/Ngor Okpala federal constituency regretted how President Muhammadu Buhari led APC administration in the country has thrown Nigerians to an unimaginable situation.
He said that out of those jostling for the number one position in the country, only Atiku Abubakar has the requisite experience and capacity to revive and rescue Nigeria from the shackles of administrative restlessness and insensitivity.
Hon Egu told them that it would be disastrous to allow APC to continue to retain power after it has succeeded destroying virtually every sector of the economy in the country, and enjoined them to close ranks to ensure the emergence of Alhaji Abubakar as President.
He assured the group that what Nigerians are experiencing today, the endless cries, lost of business capital, unattractive business environment, high cost of food items and other nasty policies will be a thing of the past once Atiku wins.
