Nigerian Government Sponsored Education Bursary Awards

The Nigerian Ministry of Education has established yet another scholarship scheme known as Education Bursary Awards to assist students studying Education in Nigerian Colleges of Education and Universities. The Ministry is calling on Nigerian students studying Education in the designated institutions of higher learning to seize this opportunity and apply as soon as possible to benefit from the scheme.

The Education Bursary Awards are tenable in Nigeria and take effect from the beginning of the academic session. The ministry has warned that no Award shall be held at the same time with another Award nor for part-time studies. It is also necessary to know that change of course or Institution is not allowed while enjoying the award. The Ministry added that applications are entirely free of charge as no agents are required for the process.

Benefits of Education Bursary Awards

Each beneficiary of the bursary is entitled to N150,000 fund awarded each year and the award is renewable every year until the beneficiary graduates.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for the Education Bursary Awards, applicant must:

• Be a registered student studying Education in any Nigerian College of Education or University
• Be a full-time student
• Be in second year or above
• Be a student that is not a beneficiary of any subsisting scholarship.

To apply for the award, kindly follow the steps below:

2. Click on Federal Scholarship Board ICON on the Home Page
3. Click on Federal Scholarship Board ICON on the Home Page
4. Select Federal Education Bursary Award (EBA)
5. Read Guidelines and then Complete the Application Form online
6. Print the completed application form for reference purposes

Note that double Entries will be disqualified.

2nd April 2024 to 13th May 2024.
