Henry Njoku Expresses Gratitude To Uzodinma, APC On Campaign Council Duty ..Says, Ohakim Inspiration
The campaign council chairman of the just concluded Ngor Okpala state constituency bye-election Chief Sir Henry Njoku (IKEOHA) have expressed his gratitude to the governor of Imo State His Excellency Senator Hope Uzodinma and the All Progressives Congress (APC) led by Macdonald Ebere (P.hd) for finding him worthy and capable of navigating the campaigns of the February 26th Ngor Okpala state constituency election.
Chief Njoku made this statement consequent upon a congratulatory message issued to him by the former governor of Imo State Dr. Ikedi Ohakim on the victorious outing of party at the bye-election.
In his speech, Chief Njoku described the victory of the party as a well deserved victory which wouldn’t have been achieved without the developmental strides of the shared prosperity administration led by Senator Hope Uzodinma which cuts across all sector of the state’s economy.
He averred that the election was a reflection of the wish of the people of Ngor Okpala local government hence, victory for not just Ngor Okpala people but victory for democracy and the state at large.
IKEOHA however thanked the governor, the deputy governor and the party leadership for the confidence reposed on him to serve the state under such capacity stressing that his appreciation will not be complete without commending the efforts of the deputy governor Prof Placid Njoku, the Speaker of the Imo state house of assembly Rt Hon Kennedy Ibe, the special adviser to the governor on special duties Hon Chinasa Nwaneri and other political appointees of the government for their unwavering support , commitments and effort during the election which culmulated to the victory recorded by the party at the poll. The freight forwarding expertise stated that the government of Senator Hope Uzodinma is passionate about the development of the state and will stop at nothing in its actualization pointing out that the success of Ngor Okpala election was necessitated by the transformational leadership of Governor Uzodinma which reflected at the polls pointing out that he is glad to be part of the success story of the Ngor Okpala bye-election.He commended the state chairman of APC for his sagacity and vigour in leading the party to the path of success reiterating his optimism in the success of the party in future elections.
IKEOHA however described former governor Ikedi Ohakim as a value driven inspirational leader with a motivational deep sense of purpose and responsibility.
He added that serving Ikedi Ohakim’s administration as sole administrator of Owerri North local government and ISOPADEC commissioner was a service to the state he will remain grateful for stressing that he can’t thank Ohakim enough for the show of love to him over the years especially during the celebration of his birth anniversary held recently.
IKEOHA finally enjoined Imo people to remain supportive to the administration of Senator Hope Uzodinma and the shared prosperity administration pointing out that the government is of Imo people, by Imo people and for Imo people hence, determined in ameliorating their sufferings.
He stressed on the need for every patriotic Imo origin to contribute towards building the state noting that their is no other state they can call their own other than our collective Imo.
