Ejiogu, Ohakim pours encomiums on Henry Njoku on 60th birth anniversary

It was a moment of euphoria and elation at the 60th birthday celebration of the M.D/C.E.O of Harritex group Chief Sir Henry Njoku who is fondly addressed by the tittle “IKEOHA” by his friends and associates.


The occasion which took place at IKEOHA’s residence in Owerri during the weekend started with an opening prayer by the Owerri zonal leader of the All Progressives Congress and the vice chairman of Imo State elders council Prince Lemmy Akakem who thanked God for the blessing and gift of another year in the life of the Ulakwo Owerri North born accomplished business mogul.


In his remark, the chairman of the occassion Sir Ambrose Ejiogu thanked everyone who have come to felicitate with Chief Henry Njoku and his family on the occassion of his 60th birthday ceremony describing the soft spoken personality of great repute as a man worthy of being honoured having endeared himself to the hearts of everyone who finds himself around him..


In his speech, the executive Governor of Imo State Senator Hope Uzodimma described Chief Henry Njoku as a dependable buddy and compadre that can be relied on anytime anyday adding that IKEOHA is a worthy son of the state who does not just leave positive imprints in anyone associated with him but have also contributed emormously to the development and growth of the state.


The governor also thanked God for the blessings of another year in good health to the life of Chief Henry Njoku as he wished Chief Njoku and his family more glorious years and God’s abundant blessings.


In his speech, the former governor of Imo State Chief Ikedi Ohakim described Chief Njoku as a reliable pen pal with a reputable personality and proven track record of integrity which is a demonstration of the honor demonstrated by cream de la creme of personalities from various walks of life who have gathered to commemorate with him on his birth anniversary pointing out that IKEOHA does not deserve anything less than the accolades recieved from friends and well wishers.


In a swift reaction, the celebrant Chief Henry Njoku and his wife Lolo Kate Chika Njoku expressed their appreciation to their guests for making the birthday a memorable one, adding that he can’t appreciate them enough for finding time to celebrate with him on a special day of such.


Chief Njoku however thanked God for blessing him with such a wonderful family and friends stressing that celebrations shall never cease in their lifes for being part of his life.


IKEOHA significantly thanked the governor for finding time to felicitate with him and his family adding that he was inspired by the governors show of love and felicitations.


Chief Njoku described Senator Uzodimma as a true leader who have shown unquantifiable determination towards the economic, human capital and infrastructural development of Imo State stressing that the administration deserves the collaborative support of Captains of industry and all Imolites from various walks of life in other to build Imo to the state of our collective dreams.


Highlights of the day was the cutting of a birthday cake anchored by former governor Ikedi Ohakim and a musical interlude.
