DONALD TRUMP ESCAPES ASSISINATION ATTEMPT

Ahead of the US general election in November, Donald Trump escapes assassination attempt in Pennsylvania. The Republican was put into panic after Trump was shot while speaking to his party supporters. This is coming after what seems to be a great way to victory for Trump over Democratic candidate. Trump in the past few days have been gaining supports across board. Just recently, Elom Musk donated a large undisclosed amount to support Trump’s campaign.

Accordingly, Trump confirmed the assassination attempt in his social media handle and noted that ‘upper part of my right ear and much bleedings took place’. The secrete service immediately rushed and took him off stage to avoid further attacks.

What happened?

An eye witness reported that ‘it sounded like firecrackers. It was not a heavy weapon, it was small arm fire’. Fortunately, no major injury was inflicted on Former president Trump.

Trump gracefully thanked  the secret and law enforcement service for timely intervention.  Trump in his handle noted that, ‘Most importantly, I want to extend my condolences to the family of the person at the rally who was killed, and also the family of another person that was badly injured. It is incredible that such an act can take place in our country’. 

President Biden condemned the attack on Republican candidate and assured Americans that whoever was responsible for such attack will be fished out and dealt with decisively. Similarly, world leaders condemned the attack and sent in their condolences to Trump. Keir Starmer in his X handle condemned the attack and wished Trump quick recovery.

In the early hours of Sunday, it was reported that Matthew Crooks Thomas, Genz Anti-fascist was responsible for the attack on former president Trump. Crook coincidentally is a registered remember of Republican party. The reason as to why he carried such an attack on his party man is yet to be undiscovered. However, insinuations are that he hates Trump and wants him eliminated or stepped down before the presidential elections.

He has been arrested and will face the law in the subsequent days over the alleged attack on Trump.
