Apply for Heinrich Boll Foundation Scholarship for 2024/2025
The Heinrich Boll Foundation accepts application for 2024/2025 scholarship. The Foundation seeks to empower students with exceptional talents. In addition, willing to work with international organizations. The core objectives of the foundation is to find solutions to the following:
- Depleting global ecosystem
- Human right abuse
- Defending freedom against the repressive powers of state.
The Heinrich Böll Foundation grants scholarships to approximately 1500 graduate students of any subjects and nationalities per year. This includes Africans who are pursuing their degree at universities, universities of applied sciences (‘Fachhochschulen’), or universities of the arts (‘Kunst-/Musikhochschulen’).
Therefore, it grants scholarships to graduates, and doctoral students from outside Germany. It is open to African, American and Asia etc. Basically, the Heinrich Boll Scholarship is open for graduate studies only.
DEADLINE
The application deadline for the 2024/2025 is March 1st and September. Every application is made online. The portal opens six week before the application deadline. Early birds are considered. 1st. Please note: HBF accept online applications only. The application portal will be opened about 6 weeks before the application deadline.
REQUIREMENTS
The scholarship recipients must proof excellent academic records. They must also show that they are socially and politically engaged. Most importantly share in the goals and values of democracy, human right, self-determination and justice. proficiency in German is needed. Good or very good knowledge of the German language is required (at least B2 Level or DSH2).
