Imo: I didn’t Come Third, Even Security Agencies say I won – Athan Achonu

Athan Achonu, governorship candidate for the Labour Party LP for the 2023 off-cycle election in Imo State, has disclosed that he didn’t come in third in the election but rather won.

He made this statement while speaking about the recently concluded gubernatorial election in the state.

Recall that Hope Uzodinma, governorship candidate for the All Progressive Congress (APC), was declared the winner in the governorship election.

Opposing this, the LP flag bearer disclosed that even security agencies and international observers are asserting that he was the winner in the election.

Speaking in an interview with Arise News, Achonu said, “I didn’t come in third in the election; even the security agencies and international observers are saying that I won; they changed everything.
