Imo Guber: Count on our votes, Okigwe Youths tell Uzodimma

Youths from Okigwe Zone under the aegis of ‘Imo Hopeful Youths’ have reiterated their total support to the reelection agenda of Governor Hope Uzodinma in forthcoming governorship poll in the state.

Youths from Okigwe Zone under the aegis of ‘Imo Hopeful Youths’ have reiterated their total support to the reelection agenda of Governor Hope Uzodinma in forthcoming governorship poll in the state.

The youths also promised to galvanise votes of fellow youths across the all pooling units and electoral wards in the six LGAs of the zone, namely Ehime Mbano, Isiala Mbano, Onuimo, Ihitte Uboma, Okigwe and Obowo for Governor Uzodinma.


Speaking to newsmen shortly after their extraordinary town hall meeting held at Umueze 1 Civic Centre, Ehime Mbano Council, weekend, the spokesman, Comrade Emma Mbanusi assured that they would leave no stone unturned in ensuring that Governor Uzodinma wins overwhelmingly in zone during the poll.

The youths also commended Governor Uzodimma for his laudable achievements within his first four years in office especially in the areas of infrastructure and human capital development while expressing optimism that he would do more when reelected.

They singled out the construction of Owerri-Okigwe Express Road which cuts across three LGAs in Okigwe Zone, and other critical governance infrastructures in Okigwe zone, as part of their reasons for endorsing the Uzodinma for second term.

The Okigwe youths also thanked the Governor for appointing many sons and daughters of Okigwe Zone into his government and pledged their continued unalloyed loyalty and support to his administration.

They equally showered ecomious on Chief Sir Tony Chukwu, an astute politician and leader in the zone for rallying massive support for the expected victory of Governor Uzodimma in the coming November 11th gubernatorial election.
