Panic grips Nwawuba camp as Amara Egbuchulam declares for Federal seat
Panic seems to have gripped the camp of the current Federal House of Representatives member representing Mbaitoli and Ikeduru, Hon Henry Nwawuba, following the declaration and purchase of the expression of interest and nomination forms, by Barr Chinemerem Amara Egbuchulam popularly called Amara MBAIKE.
This became evident following blackmail materials, supposedly sponsored by Nwawuba’s supporters, against Amara Egbuchulam, which is a clear violation of the rules of the party, forbidding aspirants and their supporters, from launching media attacks against other aspirants of the party.
In the blackmail material circulated by supporters of Nwawuba which was made available to CrudePen, Amara MBAIKE was accused of being an APC plant, sent to turn Mbaitoli leaders against Nwawuba.
The authors of the article, wondered why Amara Egbuchulam had not been active in PDP Mbaitoli, forgetting that Nwawuba also came from nowhere in 2015 to get the PDP ticket from those who had been on ground way before him.
It could be recalled that Amara Egbuchulam, during his declaration at his ward, informed the ward leaders that he had been with the party in Abuja, which was where he was previously based and upon returning to establish his business in Imo State, had identified with his ward.
With the unprovoked attack at Amara Egbuchulam supposedly being sponsored by Nwawuba, it appears that the entrance of the young lawyer into the race, has caused Nwawuba’s camp great unrest.
Amara MBAIKE have yet to make any formal reaction to the blackmail material.
When contacted, Amara Egbuchulam stated that he was focused on finding ways to better the lives of his people, rather than demonstrating desperation to rule the people as was exposed by the actions of the authors of the article.
The young lawyer insisted that all he needs was God, stating that what God cannot do does not exist while calling on MBAIKE people to start something new with him.
Amara MBAIKE have been touring the country lately meeting national leaders such as former president Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, the Anglican Primate Most Reverend Henry C. Ndukuba, former Anambra State governor Chukwuemeka Ezeife, Ijaw leader and nationalist Edwin Clark amongst others, as he champions the campaign for youths participation in politics as a way to put the country on the right track.
